Träume und Trauma

I'm Jesse, I use They & She or He pronouns. I'm queer, inclusively. I study linguistics and cognitive science at Hampshire College. I speak English, Esperanto, and German. I participate actively in student government, I sign (organize) for Hampshire's Alt.Sex group, I sing in Hampshire's chorus as a high bass, I'm still kinda into writing and narrative structure, I work on a student publication called The Omen, I'm dabbling in circus tricks, and I always try to do more.

I have a difficult time explaining my past. I grew up attending an incredibly radical alternative K-12 school that often more resembled a commune than a school (which I liked.) It was my sanctuary from trauma and an important part of my life and identity. It had its own very isolated culture though and often times at college I feel more like an international student than someone from only 2 hours away. Cultural misunderstandings were a big issue during my first semester of college, but now I think my background helps me more than it hinders.

I take confidence in the fact that I've survived many traumatic events. This blog carries a trigger warning for sexual assault because it is the most recent traumatic event I've gone through and I like to write on this blog as a coping mechanism. I sometimes forget to tag the posts with #tw: sexual assault.

My queue consists of pretty people (mostly men), pretty pictures (mostly illustration), and cute dogs (mostly corgis). I usually reblog anything else I happen to enjoy. This is very much my personal blog and I will make lots of personal posts.

There are some people who follow me that /don't/ like pictures of naked men fellating each other all over their dash, for their sake I don't post that stuff on this blog, I have an NSFW blog: mysexualityisdicks.(tumblr.com). which is only really updated if a post with a dick in it is just SO GOOD/IMPRESSIVE that I have to reblog it, so only the finest dicks and porngifs are on that blog I assure you.

(I reblog pictures of sexy men to this blog though, just only SFW ones. If something is NSFW, but is not porn / is tasteful, then it goes on this blog. SFW is defined as no explicit penis or butt showing)

Oh and the url is pronounced [ˈdʒɛsiː] or [dʒɛˈsiːoʊ] the digraph gx is supposed to represent ĝ kinda like how in German the digraph ue can represent ü.
